I am a mother who has worked with children for over twenty years between school, daycare, church, and home. I believe caring for small children is honorable and of the highest importance—so much of who we become as people is formulated in those years. Being apart of that process is a thrill for me, and something I take seriously.
Our days will be structured (loosely). We sing lots of silly songs and PLAY OUTSIDE (supervised)! We have a good size fenced backyard with hills sloping down the back. Reading is a high priority, along with music. I feel music is foundational to how a child builds their understanding of themselves and their world; we listen to a wide variety of music. We will play with our ABCs, colors, shapes, numbers, and learn them in the process. Arts and crafts are a plus!
I encourage parents to call/email often to find out what your child is doing or has done during the day. It is my pleasure to take pictures to share with you via email, so that you can see for yourself what your child is learning and doing. Maintaining a good relationship with parents is a key ingredient of my childcare philosophy. It is what I would want from someone watching my children.
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided. I ask that parents provide diapers and wipes.

A contract is essential for your peace of mind and mine as well. My contract is extensive and covers as many bases as I can think of ... items that seem to have come up throughout the years such as fevers, discipline, and toys. I have learned that the interview process goes both ways. I am interviewing you as much as you are interviewing me. Your child is precious. I know this and respect this. My desire from the interview process is to determine if we are a good match.
My husband owns a Landscape company, providing lawn care, retaining walls, and tree trimming/removal services for the entire St. Louis/St. Charles region. We believe honesty is the best policy in all of our work. We are both registered with the Family Care Safety Registry @ the Missouri Department of Health. My husband and I are both Infant/Child CPR certified. We are smoke free.
Hours of operations: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday – Friday.
